USB based HART communication link - the H@rt stick Now available! The mobile H@rt stick was developed as a replacement for now out-of-date modem solutions based on the serial port of a PC. It provides a USB-based communication link between an external HART Master running on a desktop computer or notebook and the HART field device.
In comparison to the isHRT USB the H@RT Stick doesn´t include an embedded HART master and cannot be used with the available CommDTM (isPro CommDTM). The stick was tested and released for applications which provide their own HART Master like Simatic PDM, Emerson AMS and HCF OPC Server.
