Simulation Software

Simulation is a key technology which has opened up new dimensions on many fields. Being an integrative instrument for planning and realisation, simulation serves the analysis of dynamic processes, the estimation of interactions, the identification of weak spots and last but not least the evidence of functionalities and performance limits in the operation process.

The employment of simulation, that is the experimental evaluation of a real or an imagined system by a model, is especially suggested when

  • limits of analytic methods are reached,
  • complex modes of operation can't be distinguished any more,
  • real systems experiments are not yet possible, can't be managed without consequences or are to expensive,
  • the plant's behaviour for a lapse of time has to be evaluated.

With the method simulation alternatives can be shown and the decision-making be supported. Modern simulation tools shorten the time for process development and allow a real-time plant simulation long before opening. Users of simulation software gain a lot more assurance in planning, investment and process for the whole plant cycle.
