Communication Adapter

We supply communication solutions for the whole Profibus product family (FMS, DP, DP/V1 and PA). At an early stage we were confident that the Plug & Play standard USB would play an important role as it addresses our costumers´demand for flexibility and mobility. The variety of today´s communication tasks can be demonstrated by the communication standard CAN. DeviceNet which bases on the CAN protocol is another fieldbus standard that we support. Our interfaces support the mobile set-up, configuration and monitoring of decentralised automation solutions in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive industry and facility automation. Our HART USB adapter offers a flexible solution for the process industry.

The trends today in automation technology are modular, re-configurable machines and plants that are built around distributed intelligence. Profinet provides this new and unique comprehensive automation concept. Profinet uses TCP/IP and IT standards and also includes Real-Time Ethernet capabilities. Profinet allows implementation of automation structures, integration of simple decentralized field devices as well as the operation of motion control applications.
