isNet Cube
The Ethernt-Gateway isNet Cube based on the field bus protocol Profibus and CAN provides an efficient data exchange.
Hardware
Access to the CAN network is provided by a D-Sub connector according to the CiA specification DS-102 which is fixed securely in the gateway’s main module. Up to four fieldbus-specific modules can be connected, a free combination of Profibus and CAN modules is approved. The modules are equipped with one or two bus interfaces (single/dual module). The Ethernet port 100BASE-TX supports transfer rates of 10 Mbit/s and 100 Mbit/s.
Depending on the customer-specific needs the gateway can be supplied with up to four CAN modules which results together with the interface of the main module in a maximum of 9 bus interfaces.
Software
The gateway isNet Cube is completely integrated into the driver architecture of our Profibus and CAN fieldbus components. The network can be accessed by the API of the driver DLL enclosed in the delivery contents. Application developed for the stationary isPro USBx12 can be used at once without modifications.
