isEDDview DTM

The device integration tool isEDDview DTM is a DeviceDTM for handling files of the Electronic Device Descriptions specification. It is compliant to the FDT version 1.2a and offers following features:

• Interpreter for EDD (IEC 61804-3:2006, inclusive EDD-Enhancements)
• supported protocols: Profibus (PA, DPV1) and HART
• support of EDDs with PDM-specific enhancements
• integrated Graphic front end for EDDs (ActiveX)
• Offline Parameterization

• for Profibus: GSD based bus master configuration support
• GUI is conform to the DTM Styleguide v1.0 of the FDT Group

• support of audit trail.

Features
The software isEDDview DTM is able to interpret EDD files for PROFIBUS or HART devices and to integrate these devices in any FDT Frame Application. The DTM provides dialogs for Offline and Online Parameterization and for Profibus-Bus Configuration.

As a DeviceDTM the software isEDDview DTM can be integrated into any Frame application. The configuration and parameterisation work is done by the specific instances of the found DTMs, that means to each instance belongs exactly one device description.

The DTM was especially developed with Engineering Systems as target platforms and provides especially for such environments functionality like Audit Trail support and Multi User support.
